The API Scholars program connects conservative students to the conservative network in the Central Valley through:
Scholarship Opportunities
Networking Sessions
Exclusive Seminars
Political and Non-Profit Internships
Field Trips
The API Scholars program is the American Principles Institute‘s primary resource for conservative students and young leaders. Every year, API will recruit students from each of the top colleges in the Central Valley. These Scholars will become an integral part of the Institute and enjoy the benefits of attending mixers, seminars, and partner conferences specifically for this program.
Along with internship opportunities at API Headquarters, API will partner with local elected officials to institute an internship program that benefits both the student and affiliate offices. A highlight of the year will include the annual Scholars Banquet. Scholars are encouraged to attend or assist with API programs and with projects on their campus, such as the 9/11 Never Forget Project.
The goal of API Scholars is to identify and invest in young conservative leaders, to encourage them to solidify their conservative identities, engage students on their own campuses, and get involved in the political process. In the future, the community will have a large cohort of conservative-minded students who have been API Scholars. These students will be our next elected officials, business owners, and community leaders.
